He has done his Masters in Orthopedics (MS, Ortho) from Central Institute of Orthopedics, Safdarjung Hospital, University of Delhi. Following this, he worked as Senior Registrar in orthopaedics in Safdarjung Hospital.

He has been trained by some of the leading orthopaedic experts in Safdarjung Hospital for 7 years. He has done a fellowship in arthroscopy & sports injury from Sports Injury Center, New Delhi. He has published many articles in international & national journals and presented numerous papers in Orthopedic meetings.

He has experience of more than 20 yrs in orthopaedics ( working since 2001) & done more than 10000 successful surgeries including more than 3000 arthroscopies & arthroplasties.

Dr. Consul has had a successful stint as a teacher. He has taught many young aspirants at Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi and at the same time, took viva and presentations of graduate and postgraduate students from some of the major medical colleges in Delhi-NCR.
